Communicate Technology PLC are pleased to announce that they have been selected as finalists in the ‘Innovative Product of the Year – Threat Detection’ for the 2019 Cyber Security Awards.

The Cyber Security Awards were established in 2014, to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry. Excellence and innovation are core themes, throughout all categories. The Cyber Security Awards team reviews the industry, looking for the best possible applicants. Organisations and people from all over the world are eligible to submit applications including public and private, for-profit and non-profit, largest to smallest and new start-ups as long as they have a presence within the United Kingdom.

“Being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement for our team, it is testament that we provide the best effective cyber security solutions to our clients,” said Tony Snaith, CEO.

Communicate’s seamless process has reduced response times by over 200% to under 10 minutes. The solution has been further developed to be cloud-based, rather than a traditional hardware based solution, saving investment in capital equipment.

“The all-in-one appliance or cloud product comes with an option for zero upfront cost, therefore enabling businesses of any size to procure our solution,” continued, Tony Snaith.

David Johnson, director said: “This month alone we have saved one client over £83,000 on a hardware renewal. In addition, we have reduced carbon emissions in the client’s data centre by removing old hardware and replacing it with more energy-efficient cloud alternatives utilising existing cloud infrastructure.

David continued, “as a boutique cyber security company, we strive to give clients the best technology and support to enable them to achieve real improvements in cyber security.”

Awards judge Karla Reffold said “the competition this year is incredibly tough and diverse. This was the toughest year so far to have made the shortlist. There are so many fantastic individuals, innovative products and companies that are doing great things within cyber security.”

The winners will be announced at the Cyber Security Awards dinner and presentation at the Park Plaza Hotel, Victoria, on the 4th of July 2019.
