A STOCKTON based mechanical, electrical and water management company has won a three-year contract with Cleveland Police.
JH Mechanical Services has been awarded the three-year contract with Cleveland Police which will support the creation of a further 4 new jobs within the fast-growing company.
Ran by husband and wife duo John and Heather Heward, the company will manage mechanical maintenance across all Cleveland Police’s buildings and estates. The new contract win will see the team expand their public-sector client base having recently secured Cleveland Fire Brigade’s mechanical and electrical maintenance management.
With a team of 30 the firm already provides services to many companies across the north east including Teesside University, Newcastle University and the Northern Education Trust amongst other long-term clients.
The recent expansion of the client portfolio has seen JH Mechanical Services invest in their project team, adding a mechanical contracts manager, as well as an electrical contracts manager position.

The latest contract win was secured during the Covid-19 pandemic and was awarded due to the quality of the bid which demonstrated an ability to deliver high standards across the full requirement.
