Resolution has been shortlisted for Not-for-Profit Campaign of the Year at the 2026 Prolific North Champion Awards.
The Prolific North Champions Awards recognise the organisations, teams and individuals putting the north on the map in the creative and digital sectors. The Not-for-Profit Campaign of the Year category recognises an initiative that delivered the best fundraising, awareness or service uptake results within a charity or not-for-profit organisation.
Resolution, a strategic marketing agency based in Stockton-on-Tees, works with clients across a wide range of sectors, including the third sector. Working with The Teesside Charity since 2022, Resolution has created numerous campaigns to profile the charity within the region.
The shortlisting highlights the Christmas Toy Appeal campaign in 2025, which aimed to prevent any child waking up on Christmas Day without a gift across the Tees Valley.
The Teesside Charity’s Christmas Toy Appeal launched in 2023 and is now a yearly initiative. One in three children in the Tees Valley region lives below the breadline and, for these families, Christmas can be a challenging time.
The campaign targeted numerous stakeholders and multiple target audiences including businesses and the general public across the Tees Valley. Charity dump bins were designed and produced for businesses to become collection points, resulting in over 3,400 children receiving a present, a selection box and stocking fillers in 2025, a 36% increase from the first year of the toy appeal.
Sharon Starkey, managing director, said of the shortlisting: “We’re living in a time when charities and not-for-profit organisations play a vital role in supporting everyday needs. With so many inspiring initiatives seeking support, it’s more important than ever for campaigns to connect. It’s a real privilege to be trusted by The Teesside Charity with their work and a proud moment to be shortlisted alongside such thoughtful and impactful campaigns.”
The winners will be announced on 14 May 2026 at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.
