Paragon, one of the North East’s most respected medical aesthetics clinics, has opened its brand-new, purpose-designed premises on Marden Road.
A North East leading name in medical aesthetics, Paragon has been serving patients from its Ouseburn base since 2016 and is ready to welcome patients to the Whitley Bay clinic. The new space will allow the independent, medically led business to expand its services, enhance patient experience and invest further in the North East community it calls home.
Founded by Dr Eleanor Reid (BDS Newcastle, MFDS RCS Edinburgh), Paragon has built a strong reputation for its natural, ethical approach to facial aesthetics and regenerative treatments. Dr Reid, a dentist and clinical trainer recognised nationally amongst Teoxane’s Top 20 UK Injectors, has spent nearly a decade refining Paragon’s signature blend of clinical excellence and patient first care, with every treatment designed to enhance rather than alter appearance.
Dr Reid said: “This move is about creating a space that reflects who we are, a modern, medically led clinic focused on safety, experience and helping our patients feel like the best version of themselves. Whitley Bay felt like the perfect place to do that, a vibrant, growing coastal community with a real sense of connection.”
Located at 3 Marden Road, the new clinic occupies a property that had stood empty for over a year and not been owner-occupied for more than a decade. Paragon’s investment has given the building a new lease of life, transforming it into a bright, fully accessible, purpose-built medical space that meets Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
The expansion will see additional treatment rooms, a front-of-house team, new skin therapist and extended opening hours to meet growing demand. “Our patients will see the same trusted team, the same commitment to safety and quality but in a space that has been carefully designed to elevate their experience” explains Dr Reid. “Every detail has been considered, from accessibility to comfort.”
The new space also reflects the business’s longer-term vision, to create a medical wellness hub where aesthetic and regenerative treatments meet. This will eventually include educational and community-focused uses such as training sessions, wellness events and collaborations with like-minded local businesses.
“Our sector has evolved enormously in recent years,” says Dr Reid. “We’re seeing a shift towards regenerative treatments and holistic health understanding people at a cellular level and supporting them to live well, which aligns perfectly with our thinking. The new premises gives us the freedom to explore that, whilst staying true to what we do best, understanding our patients and helping them to look and feel well.”
Paragon’s move to Whitley Bay continues the clinic’s proud commitment to the region. Dr Reid first moved to Newcastle in 2007 to study dentistry at Newcastle University and has since made the North East her permanent home. Alongside running the clinic, she serves as a lead trainer for Acquisition Aesthetics, mentoring other medical professionals and contributing to education and safety standards across the UK aesthetics sector.
The team’s collaborative, education-driven approach has been key to Paragon’s success, with almost 3 decades of combined experience between its practitioners, including Dr Chloe Aucott, Dr Rosanna Petch and Nurse Prescriber Annalise Cairns.
“We’ve outgrown our current space, and this move allows us to deliver an even better experience for our patients,” adds Dr Reid. “Everything we do is underpinned by the same principles of safety, ethics and trust; values that will always define Paragon.”
