Tees Valley’s largest commercial law firm has won a top industry award, beating off strong competition from companies around the North East.
The Endeavour Partnership has been named ‘Corporate Law Firm of the Year’ at the North East Dealmakers Awards 2020.
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the winners of the 13 categories are only just being announced.
The Teesside-based company, which employs more than 50 people and has seen a record-breaking period of financial performance over the past 12 months, was named the winner in its category after impressing judges with its “commitment to producing innovative options for their clients, whilst demonstrating business-focused thinking.”
The Endeavour Partnership was selected ahead of a number of prestigious firms including Square One Law, Hay and Kilner and Muckle LLP to win the accolade.
Lee Bramley, Managing Partner, said: “We are incredibly proud to be named Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the much sought after and fiercely contested North East Dealmakers Awards for 2020.
“It is testament to the fantastic team we have in place here at Endeavour, every member of which has played their part in us being crowned the winner.
“What’s particularly pleasing for everyone associated with the firm is that the judges recognised the commitment to our clients, which is something we pride ourselves on.
“It’s easy for us to say we’re great but for independent industry professionals – our peers – to highlight us as the stand-out company in the North East in this particular category is special, especially given how challenging the past 14 months or so have been for everyone.”
A key factor in The Endeavour Partnership’s win was the role it played in the development of Teesside International Airport, working with the Tees Valley Combined Authority and the Tees Valley Mayor, Ben Houchen to progress the ambitious plans – a key element of the recently awarded Freeport status for the area.
Lee Bramley added: “I want to say a big thank you to every member of the Endeavour team. Without them, and their commitment to the company, we wouldn’t be where we are today, not only toasting our continued growth but our most high-profile award win to date.”
